Functional training is a type of training based on stations/rounds, where the athlete does a series of exercises such as pull ups, dips, push ups, use of medicine balls, jumps, rope, bag, kettlebell, and more. The exercises are complex and require coordinating different muscles while using a lot of energy and strength.
The benefits of functional training:

- reduce fat,
- increase muscle mass,
- increase strength, muscle and body endurance,
- increase speed, flexibility, and range of moves,
- increase the strength of the cardiovascular system.
